In the Dear Santa music video, our favorite trio wear several celebratory outfits that bring out all the festive merriment to the audience. What is your favourite outfit? By ENCHANTEDMISS
For this Outfit of the Week, the choice wasn’t too hard with several of the members staying in Japan, leaving it to be a battle between Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Yuri and Seohyun.
On her way back to Japan from Gimpo though, Jessica waltzed through the airport with an incredible red/beige coat that not only kept her warm, but oozed style and class, and complimented Yuri’s dark overcoat. The rest of her outfit continued the beige and muted tone, with an olive-vest layered over a white shirt, and continued down to some skinny beige pants, ending with a pair of Klein Natural Faux SnakeSkin Lace Up Brogues.
For accessories, an Alexander Wang Rocco Dufflegraced her lithe arms. Of course, this is Jessica at the airport, and no outfit would be complete without her sunglasses, this particular pair being Linda Farrow Luxe contrasting her newly lightened hair.
‘Girls’ Generation make you feel the heat!’ With winter just around the corner, our nine girls already transformed their wardrobes to winter apparel. It is definitely a hard choice for us to choose which outfit is the best with so many variations of outerwear.
Seohyun, Jessica and Sooyoung opted for blue shirts inside the sweater, with the collars popping out. Seohyun chose to wore a pair of over sized sunglasses to finish off her look while Jessica had bare face with minimal makeup and a pair of Pony sneakers. Sooyoung on the other hand paired her sweater with a blue polka dot shirt and wearing a classic watch.
Yoona also wore a blue demin shirt, but she settled upon wearing a beige knit Cardigan instead of a pullover. Yoona added a playful, young touch to her look wearing her pink Miu Miu shoulder bag.
Unlike the others, Tiffany tried a bohemian-styled outfit. She wore Free People’s Capetown Pullover and finished the look with simply a pair of jeans and moccasins. Her red Alexander Wang Rocco bag also complimented the details of the pullover.
Our mature maknae Seohyun wore a black puff-sleeved blouse with a contrasting pendant. She carried her Quilted Floral Handbag which contrasts with her plain black silhouette.
Pixie-haired Sunny decided to match her outfit with her boyish hairstyle. She wore a leather hoodie with fur under layers to keep her warm with a checkered t-shirt underneath. She finished her incognito look with a studded cap and a pair of sunglasses.
Yuri and Sooyoung both wore a black sweater but with different styles. First off, Sooyoung recurrently showed off her long legs by wearing slim-cut jeans, this time she even wore a turtle neck sweater which elongated her tall figure. Yuri, looking quite bright and cheerful, wore a two-toned sweater with a cap and no make up at all, with her natural beauty dazzling off camera lenses.
Last but not least, our choding leader Taeyeon wore a elbow-patched-dark-blue cardigan with a beige shirt. Finishing off with a pair of glitter flats. But her white complexion with red lips lured most of the attention, some netizens say did Taeyeon stole her mother’s lipstick to put on.
Looking very laid-back this week, Hyoyeon was spotted with a couple of pieces we have seen before – an Opening Ceremony skirt seen earlier this year to name one. Hyo makes the look seem fresh with a white v-neck shirt and denim button up, casually accessorizing with her favourite Alexander Wang Rocco bag and Superga tennis shoes and Ray-Ban aviators. We hope to see more OTW looks like this from Hyoyeon in the future.
Not to be beaten Queen of Outfit of the Week posts, Sooyoung catches our eye also this week in a coordinated, stylish ensemble showing off her new darker locks at the airport today. Sooyoung’s look consisted of a Markus Lupfer sweater and grey belted skirt teamed with red low-cut sneakers, Alexander Wang leather clutch and coral-red lips giving a much needed pop of colour to the outfit. J’adore, j’adore.
A few weeks ago, Sooyoung was photographed in a questionable outfit at the Gimpo Airport. Sooyoung was wearing Isabel Marant cropped jeans with vertical stripes that made her already long legs look even longer, finishing off with simple oxford shoes. Sooyoung carried an Alexander Wang Rocco Duffel Bag, a great to-go bag seen often with many of the SNSD members. Everything was going well waist down, but waist up, we started to have our doubts.
The piece that created controversy was a Markus Lupfer shirt with the image of a corset printed on it. That along with the black embroidery on the bra area might have been what made this shirt look somewhat cheap, perhaps her posture in the photograph wasn’t helping much either.
After having seen Sooyoung in mostly classy outfits, what do you say about this one? Hit or miss?
For this week’s Outfits of the Week, we give you our Top 3 outfits from recent airport fashion that we think deserved praise.
Tiffany definitely earned an A+ from us as she walked down the airport looking more of a woman. From the top, she wore a hat that resembles one of Diane Von Furstenberg’s designs. The hat helped conceal a fraction of her face which we think gives off a very demure appeal. Her curls contributed a lot to that as well. Moreover, the bright and bold coat looked very adorable on her. The design plus the colors were very youthful and girly – the style that suits Tiffany best.
Then she balanced everything out by settling with a pair of jeans, black boots, and her YSL tote bag. We think it was a very smart move not to overwhelm the ladylike image. The whole look was still feminine but with the right proportions.
The other two outfits were worn by Sooyoung and Seohyun just days ago as they flew back to Japan for their performance on Music Station Super Live. Sooyoung has once again proved her fashion sense by going with an effortless rocker look. She wore a simple tee and cloaked it in a black leather jacket. Her accessories include her Alexander Wang Rocco bag and a cute black beanie. The outfit wasn’t dull at all even though it was mostly composed of black. In fact, it was rather edgy. And the Marc by Marc Jacobs iPad case was a wonderful addition as it gave the whole outfit a pop of color.
On the other hand, Seohyun followed suit and went along with the effortless style. Usually, Seohyun is often seen wearing eccentric clothes to the airport that define her uniqueness. However, she kept a low profile and wore a cable-knit sweater, the color of which greatly complemented her complexion. Along with her deep violet Coach bag, the vibrance and textures of both colors was a good combination. Finally, her soft curls and Wayfarers kept the whole outfit simple yet stylish.
It’s that time of the year again where we wrap things up as the year comes to an end. 2013 has been a fruitful year with the girls carrying a vast variety of bags from airport appearances to public appearances and to CFs. This year saw a lack of clutches but a large amount of shoulder bags. Let’s take a look at which bags the girls preferred throughout 2013!
