Review on Dr. Martens Pascal Boots as seen on Hyoyeon.

Dr. Martens offers a large range of boots that you can check out right here.

I bought these boots after a friend’s recommendation, and seeing how they were so stylish I did not think twice about it! Thank goodness these boots are absolutely amazing and I didn’t have to regret it.

I have a lot of good things to say about these boots so here they are:

The boots are very well made and are sturdy as the soles are sewn to the shoes instead of being glued on. They are also very durable and have lasted with me for about two years now. On top of that, they’re stylish and either match with your outfit, or make your outfit look better. They are absolutely comfortable and give great foot support, which is something i definitely look for in good shoes.

However, it does need some breaking in as it is leather and it’s quite stiff when you first buy it, but that’s only natural. Also, socks should be worn with these boots to avoid chafing of the back of your heel so it can get really hot when you wear them in the summer- it’s perfect in the winter! It’s pretty expensive too but you’re definitely paying for quality stuff

Thus, it’s a great pair of boots to invest in, considering it’s durability and the comfort it brings. I personally feel that these boots are a must-have and i’ll definitely be getting another pair soon!

Review: Harajuku Lovers Monster Space Age In-Ear Headphones

Review on the Harajuku Lovers Monster Space Age In-Ear Headphones as seen with  Sunny.

Here’s what comes with the earphones:

  • 5 clip-on body colors
  • Retractable cord keeper
  • Multiple eartip sizes
  • Heart-shaped compact case

Well, there are both good and bad sides to these cute and stylish headphones so i’ll just start with the advantages! These headphones are pretty comfortable, as all in-ear headphones are, and you can choose which size of the eartip fits your ear the most.

The sound quality is also pretty decent, considering it’s much cheaper than some other headphones such as Beats or even the Apple In-Ear Headphones.

In addition, the compact case is practical and convenient to store your headphones properly. I feel that the retractable cord keeper was a good idea but… well I’ll get to that soon.

Now for the disadvantages. One of the major drawbacks for these headphones is the retractable cord keeper. Despite the concept of it being clever in the way that it is supposed to avoid tangling, sometimes the wire gets tangled in the cord keeper, making it totally troublesome. Occasionally it even gets jammed and really messy. Also, it has a tendency to retract by itself when you’re walking, causing the earphones to get pulled out of your ears. Of course you’re meant to clip it on but seriously, it’s a little troublesome to keep having to clip it on all the time. It’s hard to patiently untangle the wire from the cord keeper.

Also, the paint on the earphones chips off pretty easily so you have to keep them properly when they’re not in use. ( Well, that’s what the case is for!)

Well all in all, the sound quality, the looks and the comfort of the headphones are fine but for me, the retractable cord keeper is a major drawback. Then again, I’m very impatient. So, if you’re fine with it then i think it would be a great investment!

Outfit of the Week
POSTED IN Hyoyeon, Outfit of the Week, Sooyoung

Looking very laid-back this week, Hyoyeon was spotted with a couple of pieces we have seen before – an Opening Ceremony skirt seen earlier this year to name one. Hyo makes the look seem fresh with a white v-neck shirt and denim button up, casually accessorizing with her favourite Alexander Wang Rocco bag and Superga tennis shoes and Ray-Ban aviators. We hope to see more OTW looks like this from Hyoyeon in the future.

Not to be beaten Queen of Outfit of the Week posts, Sooyoung catches our eye also this week in a coordinated, stylish ensemble showing off her new darker locks at the airport today. Sooyoung’s look consisted of a Markus Lupfer sweater and grey belted skirt teamed with red low-cut sneakers, Alexander Wang leather clutch and coral-red lips giving a much needed pop of colour to the outfit. J’adore, j’adore.
