It is getting incredibly harder and harder to pick winners for our weekly special posts lately, what with the steady flow of public appearances and airport sightings but we have just managed to narrow it down to two winners this week.
Tiffany continues to hold her crown for OTW, wowing us again this week with a polished airport ensemble. Tiffany is chic and lady-like earlier on this week at Gimpo airport with a forest-green wool crepe dress, keeping things very season appropriate with a grey coat, stockings and leather booties. Glossy loose curls and natural make-up kept the look demure and feminine, while the Celine bag finished the very chic airport look. Definitely an off-duty look that would make Victoria Beckham very proud of!
If there is one member that comes close to Sooyoung’s title as most effortlessly-chic in terms of styling it is Jessica. Looking very laid-back and camera ready at the LG Store fan signing, Jessica wore a embroidered jacket from Isabel Marant’s Fall collection and two gold statement necklaces. A plain white shirt and red skinny jeans keep things from being too busy, while the teased tresses compliment the bohemian look. This understated look is perfect for a fan-signing event but still interesting enough thanks to the Navajo-inspired statement jacket.

Bloom like a flower and dance like a butterfly from these looks featured in Girls’ Generation’s latest Japanese single “Flower Power”, and become the center of attention!

Coming into the second week of November, Tiffany has already snagged a winner with her ensemble en route from Incheon to LAX for the SBS Super Concert happening later today just outside of Los Angeles, California.
For her return to her home country, she supported an almost entirely BCBGMAXAZRI branded outfit, with a style reminiscent of “Genie” with it’s militaristic style. Starting from the top, she donned a subdued green military jacket atop an oversized black shirt, a style seen widely today.
Moving down, her legs were glad in skintight leather leggings, accentuating her slim legs, while she balanced herself on a pair of leather platform shoe boots. Accessory wise, a large black leather bag adorned her side, and perhaps most unusual, a cadet hat sat primly on her beautifully straight hair, definitely reminiscent of their “Genie” or even Korean “Mr. Taxi” promotions.
Overall, this Cali girl not only got a homecoming to remember, she took home this weeks Outfit of the Week honors. Congrats Tiffany!

As seen on Taeyeon and Yoona. Available @ Best Buy – $199.99
The flagship of Samsung’s Galaxy line-up, the Galaxy S III represents the pinnacle of Samsung engineering(at least until the Note 2 came out), and having sold in excess of 20 million units in less than 100 days, is obviously not a dud when it comesto sales. Yoona and Taeyeon themselves are part of that number, showing that the phone attracted the attention of Girls’ Generation themselves. But just how good IS this device?I’ll be brief: it’s damn good. Why? I’ll explain.
Picking up the phone, you’ll notice one thing: it’s plastic. Not cheap plastic, but plastic nonetheless. Definitely a change from the solid-body that the iPhone 5 currently sports, and different that the polycarbonate that other similarly-priced phones have. Still, the ergonomics are great, and it definitely feels like it was designed to be held for long periods of time. Flipping it over, you’ll notice the beautiful 4.8 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, one of the larger ones out there. While not as sharp as Apple’s Retina display, it’s still very nice, and produces richly saturated colors, though some may find it too saturated for their liking. Other than that, it’s got the standard headphone jack, 3 physical buttons, and a volume rocker.
As for usability, it’s an Android phone, and it does what Android does best: allows users to tinker and change almost whatever they want. With a quad-core(dual-core in the United States) processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, this one of the fastest ones around. Anything you do, from gaming to web browsing to Tweeting happens almost within an instant, and with a larger than normal battery, allows for great battery life for a smartphone, though if you tend to be a constant phone checker, you might notice it draining faster, but still be able to get out a good 6-7 hours before hitting about 20-30% battery life. The Android app store has grown considerably, and while not as large as Apples, definitely offers something for everyone, and many Apple users will be able to find comparable apps to make the transition easier. With an 8-megapixel camera, it delivers great shots, though you’ll want to rely on an actual camera for those tricky night shots, or when you really need clarity. But as a basic snapshot camera, it excels, and also has the ability to record 1080p video, and with 16-64 GB’s of storage internally, and a microSDHC expansion slot, you never need to worry about running out of room for all your media.
So what are the cons? For one thing, it’s big. Not unbearable big, as the small-handed members like Taeyeon and Yoona use it, but for some, may be a bit unwieldy. Also, as I mentioned earlier, the build quality falls a little short, and feels more like a mid-range device, rather than a premium one. The display also isn’t as nice as the iPhone’s, and colors tend to be a have a bluish hue to them. When it comes to usability, Android’s customization is second to none, but some users may not need that much freedom, and it definitely is not as pick-up-and-play as Apple’s. Lastly, Samsung tends to be slow when it comes to updating, so while it’s starting to roll out Android 4.1 Jellybean, the next update could take several months to get ready, and Samsung has a history of forgoing updates at all.
Overall, this is definitely one of the best Android phones around, and if you want a switch from an iPhone, and don’t mind learning a new system, or you love Android and just want something bigger and better(but smaller than the Note 2), the Galaxy S III is the phone for you.

From pretty singers to fashion icons? It seems the girls are on speed dial when renowned international fashion designers seek their presence to their respective shows. Not turning them down, some of our girls flew out of the country in outfits that will surely make it difficult to crown as the outfit of the week.
First off is Yoona flying to Hong Kong for a chance to watch Vivienne Westwood’s Fall 2012-2013 RTW Collection a few days ago. She shows up at the airport looking very mature with her head-to-toe Vivienne Westwood outfit. The red high-waist shorts and pussy-bow shirt suggested a “European lass” vibe with the black tights and pumps – a sure hit for fall. Too bad the get-up was covered by her coat but that doesn’t make us love its intricate collar detail any less. Finally, a patent leather Vivienne Westwood purse slung over her shoulder and a natural hairstyle and make-up to finish the look.
A few days after, Yuri and Sooyoung were spotted departing for the same destination but for a different purpose. The two beauties were invited to the opening of the Burberry flagship store at the Pacific Place Mall in Hong Kong. Before leaving the country, the duo took the liberty of putting up a little runway show for the people at the airport clad in Burberry goodies.
Yuri went for the dress and coat combo and long boots to kick off the day. She looked very chic in her digital print dress but the navy Burberry coat balanced it out and also defined her wonderful curves. The boots and tights emphasized her long legs and added a touch of sexy to the outfit. Her beaut of a bag from Burberry Prorsum also raked extra points from us. Her look reminded us something Serena van der Woodsen of Gossip Girl would wear, which is definitely a good thing.
Unlike Yuri and Yoona, Sooyoung ditched the skirt and shorts and settled for the classic Burberry trench coat and a good ol’ pair of jeans. Our favorite fashionista thought of going low profile with her look but it surely had the opposite effect on her model body. Her outfit was more casual but it still had a very regal twist to it. The style is effortless with her low ponytail and bangs but she still didn’t forget to pay attention to detail when she matched her oxfords to her Burberry Prorsum bowler bag.
Three princesses of the airport but only one is bound to be queen. Who do you think did justice to her brand and rightfully deserves the title “Outfit of the Week”?
