SNSD’s youngest member Seohyun joined her fellow band members last month at the Charles & Keith’s Fall 2013 collection launch. Seohyun wore a white Calvin Klein Spring 2013 sleeveless dress which included the black skinny belt as seen on the runway.
Adding some edginess to the minimalistic, clean look as presented on the runway, Seohyun altered the underlining of the dress to create a asymmetrical cut. Loose waves, black pumps and fringe necklace finishes off her look.
Back in June, Olivia Wilde attended the 16th Annual ACE Awards in the same dress. Styled also with the black skinny runway belt, Olivia stuck to the symmetric hemline as presented on the runway to show off the lovely ivory satin detail on the skirt. With black platform heels, clutch and sleek side-parted bun Olivia opts for a more cleaner, chic look.
Do you prefer Seohyun’s ‘edgy’ take on the ivory ensemble or do you prefer Olivia’s more sleek and clean look?

Erm… Seo Hyun looked better but they could have at the very least iron the dress or is it meant to be like that? XD
No, there are not supposed to be creases and wrinkles on the dress
Ah really? Coz if you compare it to Olivia’s dress, it really looks crumpled~ =/
the dress looked seriously awkward on Seohyun from waist down.
i wonder what went through the stylist’s mind to have altered the dress and not ironed it properly? such a shame. The original look is great there’s no need to change.
I ended up voting for Seohyun mainly because of her necklace which I thought gave the dress just a bit more pop. It’s the perfect cut for the neckline of the dress and makes it look really high end.
I also liked the idea of having the underskirt shorter but I have to agree with others who posted – the over skirt looks like it needs ironing. I also think it should have been hemmed to just above her knee so as not to make her look short. Her hair style is also really carefree which the dress seems to ask for.
What didn’t work was that the dress makes her hips look huge while it doesn’t seem to do so for Ms. Wilde.
But in the end, I felt that Seohyun made the dress more her style and therefore wore it just a bit better than Olivia
