Review on Apple’s iPad 2 as seen on Hyoyeon, Jessica, and Taeyeon.

Being thin as a slice of cake, Apple’s iPad 2 has many pros and cons. Some of the pros? It’s smaller than an ordinary laptop and perfect for anybody traveling. The video quality’s pretty good. The speed has increased since the first generation has been released. There are a bunch of applications you can download just for this and some are really great and fun even. The battery life is super long and doesn’t wear out until the next day (Depending on how long you use it). The skins that you can buy along the way are so pretty! All of the skins are all colorful and absolutely pop.

So there are a bunch of cons in the iPad. I mean, first of all the camera resolution is absolutely horrible. It’s not even high definition; a complete joke. It can’t work with flash so no movies! The backlight bleeds through some of the spots. (It’s even noticeable!) The fonts on the screen can become fuzzy and even bleed. In my opinion, it’s completely overpriced! I had to save some money for awhile. Yes, I know, there are more cons than pros. But nothing’s perfect, right?

Overall Rating: 2.5/5

Great review, I would also wait for the price to hopefully drop or for 3.0 to come out, I didn’t know about these font and flash issues until I read your review, thanks!

woah i never realized ipad2 had those glitches before.
great review! i love my ipad 2! it’s my mini-library full of my school e-books. saves a lot of bag space and takes a huge load off my shoulders, literally. plus cool apps really save me from boring classes, hihi (i don’t do it all the time! :”>)

wow I had no idea the iPad had so many cons. This will definitely have me either waiting for a better version or simply skipping it all together and just getting an iTouch

If I may comment on this review, I find it incredibly misleading (and somewhat inaccurate). I had a strong reluctance in purchasing this product for a while, but once I caved into that itch to own a tablet, I have no regrets whatsoever. Perhaps reading a more in-depth review would help a potential iPad2 customer out more. http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/09/ipad-2-review/

I can guarantee, there are not more cons than pros. Yes, camera/video quality pales in comparison to the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but are you really spending $499+ just to take pictures with a tablet? There’s no flash, but you can definitely still watch movies (Netflix!). There’s apps that will let you stream video files directly from your computer, or even work with .srt subtitle files (extremely handy when I’m trying to watch K-dramas before going to sleep).

Overall, iPad2’s a great “toy” or tool to have if you can afford it. There’s a reason why it’s doing better than other tablets on the market. I’m sure our girls enjoy using this product. =)

The iPad was very nice in my opinion. I own one and it’s light-weight, very easy to carry around and over all a nice little gadget to have. It also accommodates your needs if you like to read or play games. The apps are really neat too, so I suggest flicking through the App store because they have them in abundance.

The down side, as stated, is the camera. It is bad in resolution, but the whole point of the iPad was for the apps anyway, so for me, it doesn’t really matter.

It’s personal preference for you guys; in my opinion, it’s well worth the money. If you reaaallly want it. ;D
