Fashion Highs: 2010
POSTED IN Fashion Highlights, Hyoyeon, Jessica, Seohyun, SNSD, Sooyoung, Sunny, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Yoona, Yuri

ghizuu: Definitely one of my most favourite outfits of 2010. Other than Gucci being one of my all time favourite brands, the outfits that Yuri and Hyoyeon wore were simple and stylish with an edge. The girls outfits were complimented really well by wearing  minimal amounts of accessories and having  hair styles not too outrageous.

cream: The girls absolutely looked tres chic in the Fall 2010 collection. I loved everything about Yuri’s look from head to toe, there are many ways this look could have been sleep inducing but small things from the dead-straight hairstyle to the layered necklace made the outfit a stand out. Hyoyeon’s dress although, more edgier than the other girls perfectly suited her. Although I would not have chosen toe-capped heels, it still finished the look perfectly.

C-lowicious: The girls looked almost high profiled models at the 2010 Gucci Fall Show, but Yuri and Hyoyeon pulled off the looks more than the others. The jumpsuit on Yuri complimented her long and slender figure and her hair looked great. Many have commented saying that maybe it was too much to have Gucci from head to toe but I thought it didn’t matter since it went well. I loved Hyoyeons hair along with the dress and I personally loved the shoes but maybe something mono color (without the glitter cap) would have went better.

KitaHoshi: Despite the fact that they are wearing Gucci the two girls pulled off the look effortlessly. The two outfits complimented their figures well and the colors fit the fall season. They brought sosphistication to the outfits, complimenting it with non fussy pieces such as the simple layered necklace, and Hyoyeon’s understated ring. Also with their hairstyle, again not elaborate at all but it shouldn’t be considering they were always there to showcase the outfits.

cream: When I first saw the W shoot, all I could think about was “WOW. This is their first high fashion shoot!”. This may sound strange as the girls have been shot in a few hf shoots over the years (recently a Burberry/Miu Miu/Moschino centered shoot for Cosmopolitan) but none of them did any justice, either too generic or dull. W gave us a shoot that showcased the girls in top designer brands that complimented them so well. The styling was spot on, making this one of my favorites of the year.

ghizuu: These girls have gone through very many photo shoots using and wearing a variety of top brands, but this above many of them has got to be the more classy shoots of them all. With each girl donning  different types of styles they totally rocked it in the end from their clothing /accessories, to their poses and to the final photo. Many may disagree but I call it Perfection!

C-lowicious: The girls photo shoots always have me in awe but the W shoot is definitely my favorite. This seemed so much more professional yet sexy and edgy, but still classy. Each concept suited them individually, it was as if we were looking right into them through these pictures. We could even see their modeling status’ as well. They just blew me away with this photo shoot.

KitaHoshi: The W magazines always do great Editorial shoots. This particular shoot had a concept for each girls, and each of them pulled it off and emobodied their concept ex. Tiffany was a lace doll. The outfits highlighted their strong assets and covering their weak ones. The outfits were probably would have been not as outstanding if it wasn’t for the way they were styled and the professional settings nonetheless it was really a great photoshoot and outfits.

cream: I remember when the first images came out of Jessica, some had said the dress made her look unflattering. I absolutely disagreed with this because without the belt lifting the dress, it would absolutely be shapeless. This little number had to make it on the list, because simply Jessica looks stunning and radiant in this bohemian, stylish number. A refreshing change from the cutesy and sexy outfits, she usually wears during promotion time

cream: One word: chic! I absolutely adored this look, it was simple and effective. I love that Sooyoung managed to work it so well without the belt from the runway. It didn’t seem overally fussy with the nude make-up and single gold bangle supporting one of fashion’s golden rules – less is always best

C-lowicious: All black is always nice but I personally thought that she would have done better without the stockings. But it was such a sexy chic look with the gloves and the cool blazer and (even though I wish her hair was down) her hair stood out quite nicely.

C-lowicious: The reason why I liked this shoot was because it had a innocent feel to it thus it suited Seohyun very well. Can’t much say I liked or disliked the crazy hairdo but I thought the outfits went well with the concept. Overall I just think Seohyun is gorgeous in these photos.

cream: I absolutely loved this shoot for Seohyun. It was soft and had a very calm and peaceful mood to it. The hairstyle was interesting – something frazzled contrasted with the soft palette of fabrics from Ferragamo’s collection, I would have liked a slicked back hair-do for the shoot but I do suppose that the frizzy hairstyle is effective in making a statement. I really hope to see Seohyun in more high fashion editorials, she can really work them!

C-lowicious: I’m not much into animal prints but the girls totally worked it here. There was perfect amount of it, including Yoonas all Cheetah-licious dress, with the rest of them matching the concept. The accessories, hair pieces, and even the fur Hyoyeon is wearing went well with everything. I don’t like too much stockings but this was an exception since it gave the attention to the girls apparel. This look is very fashionable, definitely a favorite of mine. May I also just add that I want those Print shoes Seohyun is wearing!

C-lowicious: Like in the Elle Girl (Japan) above, this also had a few animal prints but there was a little more color. It also gave me a casual but fashionable feel to it with many of the accessories and the shoes. I think this was a good portrayal of a lot of what is in now-a-days from the prints to the skirts, hats, and the boots. The smiles on their faces made the picture too.

C-lowicious: When it comes to fashion with the 9 girls, I tend to follow Sooyoung, Yuri and Hyoyeon. Here, Sooyoung is wearing a long plaid shirt with jeans and boots like a boys style. To enhance the fashion, the shirt is tied around her waist so that it it can show little bit of her figure and give it that girly feeling. Hyoyeon is wearing a large vest top with heel boots, and just with that it is one unique fashion statement-who said Hyoyeon is the fashion terrorist? Not to mention the cool shades and beautiful bags they have. Both comfortable and cool to wear just to the airport!

cream: Absolutely love Hyo airport attire here! Hyo’s ankle boots reminded me of Chloe’s Two-Tone Lace-up boots, I love how her boots match her Givenchy bag.
