NEXT ON OUR LIST, WE HAVE TIFFANY’S MEMORABLE ‘CALIFORNIAN GIRL’ FEATURE WITH 1ST LOOK MAGAZINE.

Shot back then in Los Angeles – Tiffany’s hometown, Tiffany shot around the coastal areas in ensembles that included flowy and floral tops, pastel colors, and denim bottoms all pieces akin to that of a Californian resider. Reminiscing in her accompanying issue, Tiffany discussed her life in the United States, personality and career. It is easy to see that the 1st Look team mastered emulating not only Tiffany’s bubbly, fun personality in the shoot styling but also her fond impressions of sunny California in art direction.

#2 Hyoyeon – 1st Look, July 2013

OUR RUNNER UP FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT OF THE YEAR IS HYOYEON IN HER SHOOT ‘RHYTHM EMOTION’ FOR 1ST LOOK MAGAZINE.

Upon viewing the results of the shoot, Hyoyeon commented “When I look at the photos now, it still doesn’t look like me; it’s still awkward”. It only make sense that Hyoyeon would comment on her photos this way with the transformation from performing artist to high-fashion model. With pieces from the likes of Goen J.,  Moon Young Hee, and Jill Stuart, the styling was adventurous, fashion-forward and albeit intimidating for one who is unaccustomed to having to ‘sell’ unique pieces.

Channeling her dancing background, Hyoyeon approached the shoot by acting out like she was dancing, this approach was a success allowing our ‘dancing queen’ to  command each shot, providing striking poses that ranged from compelling edginess to graceful allure that showcased each monochromatic ensemble.
