1. Spray TREsemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer into your hair. Then, comb your hair to distribute the product evenly and to prevent tangles and future obstacles to come.

2. Separate your hair into two sections. There should be one section on the top, and one section on the bottom. Clip the top section on top for future use.

3. Get the Hot Tools Professional Spring Curling Iron ready. When it is ready, curl the bottom sections by inserting all of your hair into the clamp and around the tool’s spiral. You should hold each small section for about 30 seconds. Each section should be about two pinkies thick. Repeat this with the top section.

4. Tie your hair into a high side ponytail. It should be about 2 inches from your temple towards the back of your head. Make sure it is nice and secure.

5. Pick up your ponytail and release it so that all it spreads out like a firework. Secure the “firework” with a hairtie. It will cover the ponytail’s base. It should be somewhat like a bun. If you have short hair like Taeyeon, this step will be finished. If you have long hair, tug on the firework until it forms a nice bun with uneven ends sticking out. The ends should be an inch at most.

6. Tug on some strands of the hair so they stand out against the others. (You can even some pieces sticking out in midair!) Repeat this with the ends of the bun.

7. Pin some of the ends of the bun down while leaving some up and about. It will look somewhat like an ocean with waves crashing against sand.

8. To finish the look, pin the bun down on your hair to secure it. You can take this as an opportunity to make the bun puffier and messier.

Enjoy!
