POSTED IN Jessica, Outfit of the Week

Known for her simple but effective ensembles, it is no surprise that Jessica is the highlight of our week with not one but two winning outfits.

Jessica keeps it simple and clean early this week at the airport with a Sandro T-shirt emblazoned with “BROOKLYN”, paired the top with a high-waisted denim zip skirt. She finishes her look with her favorite Repetto loafers and Linda Farrow Luxe sunglasses.

The low-key off-duty style doesn’t stop there, a couple of days later Jessica made another appearance at the airport with a season appropriate plain white t-shirt which perfectly off-set her Current/Elliot floral jeans. The flawless ensemble again of course is finished off with Repetto loafers and Linda Farrow Luxe sunglasses.

We look forward to seeing more of Jessica’s uncanny knack of putting simple pieces together and creating exciting ensembles at the next airport appearance.

POSTED IN Outfit of the Week, Seohyun

Seohyun seems to get the hang of womanhood as she snatches the Outfit of the Week two times in a row. It was only last week when the resident Maknae wowed us all with her “Sexy Savannah” outfit. When we think she couldn’t push beyond the borders, she caught us off guard in a “Sultry Safari” number.

TaeTiSeo sans Taeyeon welcomed the new flagship store of the Italian brand, Salvatore Ferragamo, located in Seoul last July 5. Naturally, honored guests flaunted in Salvatore Ferragamo luxuries, and Seohyun might have done a good job doing so. She took the game into a whole new level when she stepped out onto the red carpet in a gold-embellished top and a pair of silk pants with leopards printed on it. She matched the outfit with strappy wedges and a box-type clutch. She didn’t fuss with her hair and tied it simply to the side instead, while she went for a smokey eye makeup.

Most of us, if not all, from Soshified Style are convinced that Seohyun might be the one that Salvatore Ferragamo’s looking for to model their collection. The brand just totally agrees with her, and we just couldn’t object to that.

Will she maintain her streak, we shall find out next week. Until then, a round of applause for Seohyun for winning consecutively.

While some had cake on their birthday, Seohyun celebrated hers fashionably and stood out in a vibrant number on the blue carpet at the Mnet 20’s Choice Awards.

Seohyun went on to try a new style for size which we are really happy about and think is a breath of fresh air. She abandoned the redundant dresses of sorts to catch everyone’s attention in her jumpsuit and blazer combo. The colors and the tropical print of her outfit from Salvatore Ferragamo’s Spring 2012 Collection complemented the event’s summer theme perfectly.

She looked blooming even in almost-zero make up and long waves sprawled across her shoulder (though I’d love it if her wavy hair was up in a high ponytail). Her peep-toe pumps were a perfect fit to the color scheme and not to mention her feet. And because of that and everything else… well done, SNSD stylists.

POSTED IN Hyoyeon, Outfit of the Week, Seohyun, Taeyeon

Taeyeon and Seohyun bought their A game to the GIRL Perfume launch yesterday dressed in French brand, Carven. The girls looked very chic opting for a minimalist ensemble. Our oldest and youngest member of Girls’ Generation both respectively wore light pastel and nude colors appropriate for the season. Their understated look was finished off with loose waves and nude sandals on Seohyun and metallic sandals on Taeyeon.

A honorable mention goes to Hyoyeon who dressed in Carven and Mary Katrantzou standing out amongst the girls in a risky colorful outfit that paid off.

This might be the first time we have a winner outfit that is not an off-duty ensemble! Seohyun stands out this week with Moschino on this week’s Music Core episode.

Seohyun plays up this matador inspired outfit with soft curls and youthful persona giving the outfit a fun and quirky feel. A pink headband and over-sized rings complete the look.

POSTED IN Outfit of the Week, Sooyoung

Even though promotions for their album are over and some of the members flied solo to their respective acting and emceeing jobs, Sooyoung appeared in front of the press in attendance to several events in the past week. And she didn’t neglect her fashionista ways as she took this edition of Outfits of the Week by storm and earned a double win.

On March 27, Seohyun and Sooyoung were present at DKNY’s Fall 2012 Fashion Show wearing pieces from the brand’s Spring 2012 Collection. While both were remarkably beautiful, Sooyoung had taken us aback in that flowy pink dress. Sooyoung, whose favorite color is black, looked ravishing in a feminine shade of pink. She mentioned in an interview in last month’s issue of InStyle Magazine that she was always hesitant when wearing colorful outfits because she was worried it wouldn’t go well with her skin tone. But we’re glad she finally considered the idea because she undoubtedly looked beautiful. Her long waves and the matching pink lips certainly lived up to the lady-like image she successfully pulled off. She carried along an oversized clutch, and apparently that’s not the only thing that appeared unusual in size. We noticed something that the stylists might have overlooked, but Sooyoung’s chunky heels seemed to be a tad big for her. It dragged the whole ensemble down a bit but overall, it was something we could still tolerate.

Sooyoung then appeared out of the blue at the premiere of the movie “Doomsday Book” days later. She wore a hot pink silk shirt and a pair of jeans rolled up and printed with a floral pattern. The colors definitely stood out but in a good way. She polished her look with her Proenza Schouler PS1 and white Repetto oxfords. The outfit was effortless as not to overwhelm the patterns and color. It was convenient for the movies and still fashionable to get the attention of the onlookers.

It seems like Sooyoung gave her closet an overhaul and exchanged blacks and grays with pinks and blues, just in time for the spring season. We’re definitely expecting to see more of this little transformation in the future.
