Tiffany was looking very cool and casual today at Hong Rok-ki’s wedding, snatching up this week’s Outfit of the Week at the last minute. Tiffany paired a textured statement jacket with some classic, simple pieces which made for a compelling outfit next to Sooyoung’s all black attire. The chic, understated look was polished off with a mini Chanel flap bag, black Mary Janes and thigh high socks.

The white blouse, speckled skirt, and socks evoked a school girl vibe to the outfit which fortunately was perfectly polished off with the tweed jacket allowing the look to avoid being frivolous. With award season coming up we can imagine the delightful outfits that are in store for us in the coming weeks, and if Tiffany’s recent outfit wins are anything to go by we are sure to see a parade of eye-catching ensembles from her.

Sooyoung redefined Boho-chic as she welcomed the Isabel Marant flagship store in Seoul last December 6. We all know how big Sooyoung’s love is for anything Isabel Marant, and the brand seemed to return the favor when she looked stunning in a tunic and a tiered skirt, both featured in the Spring 2013 RTW Collection. She added a simple jacket that hung on her shoulders. The full bangs and voluminous waves brought out a “rustic” vibe to the  look which blended well with the whole Bohemian concept. But the real eye-catcher of the night was her fringe suede wedge boots, also from Isabel Marant. And with the winter season upon us, a pair of those babies is a sure hit for shoeaholics. She didn’t bother with accessories and extravagant make-up;  just let her outfit (and long legs) do all the talking.

POSTED IN Outfit of the Week, Yoona

Unfortunately the airport fashion this week was a bit of a let down with either baffling ensembles (nod to Seohyun’s blue sweater dress earlier this week) or styling that was quite repetitive (groundhog day with Tiffany’s coat/dress/tights combo). Fortunately, we were in luck to get an outfit from Yoona that brought our spirits up in a rather fashion lackluster week.

Yoona takes a big risk this week at HaHa and Byul’s wedding donning a Burberry Prorsum cord coat from their Fall 2012 collection.  Yoona’s cord coat is paired with black tights and leather boots and a leopard tote, finishing the look off with barely there make-up and straight locks.

This is a very hard piece to pull off given the tricky silhouette that can make the wearer’s figure look unflattering. Loving the risk that Yoona took, she takes Outfit of the Week bringing in a breath of fresh air to the usual formulaic dress code the girls abide by (short dress or skirt + high heels).

Yoona allows her coat to make a statement, going easy on the accessories and using a leopard tote that punctuates the warm tones of the coat. Not opting for a belt as seen on the runway it keeps things less busy and prevents the ensemble from being overwhelming. Details such as the gold zippers and buttons, brown tone and cord material make for a very season and event appropriate piece not upstaging the bride, while looking polished and keeping warm at the same time.

Sometimes more is best and Taeyeon’s outfit at Incheon Airport this week is proof. The cold-weather ensemble takes a feminine route with Club Monaco floral print cords, which is perfectly balanced with a simple striped tee. Taeyeon’s shaggy wool jacket makes for a cozy add on, while the tan ankle boots finish the fall look.

A cool layered look that perfectly showcases her new Miu Miu bag.

POSTED IN Jessica, Outfit of the Week, Tiffany

It is getting incredibly harder and harder to pick winners for our weekly special posts lately, what with the steady flow of public appearances and airport sightings but we have just managed to narrow it down to two winners this week.

Tiffany continues to hold her crown for OTW, wowing us again this week with a polished airport ensemble. Tiffany is chic and lady-like earlier on this week at Gimpo airport with a forest-green wool crepe dress, keeping things very season appropriate with a grey coat, stockings and leather booties. Glossy loose curls and natural make-up kept the look demure and feminine, while the Celine bag finished the very chic airport look. Definitely an off-duty look that would make Victoria Beckham very proud of!

If there is one member that comes close to Sooyoung’s title as most effortlessly-chic in terms of styling it is Jessica. Looking very laid-back and camera ready at the LG Store fan signing, Jessica wore a embroidered jacket from Isabel Marant’s Fall collection and two gold statement necklaces. A plain white shirt and red skinny jeans keep things from being too busy, while the teased tresses compliment the bohemian look. This understated look is perfect for a fan-signing event but still interesting enough thanks to the Navajo-inspired statement jacket.

Coming into the second week of November, Tiffany has already snagged a winner with her ensemble en route from Incheon to LAX for the SBS Super Concert happening later today just outside of Los Angeles, California.

For her return to her home country, she supported an almost entirely BCBGMAXAZRI branded outfit, with a style reminiscent of “Genie” with it’s militaristic style. Starting from the top, she donned a subdued green military jacket atop an oversized black shirt, a style seen widely today.

Moving down, her legs were glad in skintight leather leggings, accentuating her slim legs, while she balanced herself on a pair of leather platform shoe boots. Accessory wise, a large black leather bag adorned her side, and perhaps most unusual, a cadet hat sat primly on her beautifully straight hair, definitely reminiscent of their “Genie” or even Korean “Mr. Taxi” promotions.

Overall, this Cali girl not only got a homecoming to remember, she took home this weeks Outfit of the Week honors. Congrats Tiffany!

Poll: Outfit of the Week
POSTED IN Outfit of the Week, Polls, Sooyoung, Yoona, Yuri

From pretty singers to fashion icons? It seems the girls are on speed dial when renowned international fashion designers seek their presence to their respective shows. Not turning them down, some of our girls flew out of the country in outfits that will surely make it difficult to crown as the outfit of the week.

First off is Yoona flying to Hong Kong for a chance to watch Vivienne Westwood’s Fall 2012-2013 RTW Collection a few days ago. She shows up at the airport looking very mature with her head-to-toe Vivienne Westwood outfit. The red high-waist shorts and pussy-bow shirt suggested a “European lass” vibe with the black tights and pumps – a sure hit for fall. Too bad the get-up was covered by her coat but that doesn’t make us love its intricate collar detail any less. Finally, a patent leather Vivienne Westwood purse slung over her shoulder and a natural hairstyle and make-up to finish the look.

A few days after, Yuri and Sooyoung were spotted departing for the same destination but for a different purpose. The two beauties were invited to the opening of the Burberry flagship store at the Pacific Place Mall in Hong Kong. Before leaving the country, the duo took the liberty of putting up a little runway show for the people at the airport clad in Burberry goodies.

Yuri went for the dress and coat combo and long boots to kick off the day. She looked very chic in her digital print dress but the navy Burberry coat balanced it out and also defined her wonderful curves. The boots and tights emphasized her long legs and added a touch of sexy to the outfit. Her beaut of a bag from Burberry Prorsum also raked extra points from us. Her look reminded us something Serena van der Woodsen of Gossip Girl would wear, which is definitely a good thing.

Unlike Yuri and Yoona, Sooyoung ditched the skirt and shorts and settled for the classic Burberry trench coat and a good ol’ pair of jeans. Our favorite fashionista thought of going low profile with her look but it surely had the opposite effect on her model body. Her outfit was more casual but it still had a very regal twist to it. The style is effortless with her low ponytail and bangs but she still didn’t forget to pay attention to detail when she matched her oxfords to her Burberry Prorsum bowler bag.

Three princesses of the airport but only one is bound to be queen. Who do you think did justice to her brand and rightfully deserves the title “Outfit of the Week”?

Who ruled the airport with her outfit?
